Few arrests reported as thousands march against president ahead of military parade - Day of action comes after week-long protests in Los Angeles against Trump’s hard-line immigration policies and ICE
An estimated 8,000 protesters filled the Broadway Bridge sidewalk from one end to the other Saturday morning during one of the thousands of No Kings Marches across the country.
Protestors numbering in the thousands have begun their march at Scissortail Park, heading to City Hall. The lines of people are stretching across several blocks. The Oklahoma City "No Kings" protest march begins at 9 a.m. at the corner of Oklahoma City Boulevard and Hudson Avenue.
It began with a moment of silence for a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband who were killed in what Gov. Tim Walz called a political assassination.
Protesters began gathering early on the west steps of the state Capitol in Sacramento as a so-called “No Kings” protest against Trump administration policies, part of a nationwide day of demonstrations meant to coincide with a military parade marking the 250th anniversary of the U.
